VelvetSpeak
Closed beta · invite only

Be who you want to be.

Sound how you want. Speak how you want. VelvetSpeak can put suggested words or a quiet coaching cue on your glasses when you ask for help, or when optional Coach identifies a concrete conversational bind.

It works across the arc of a real conversation: set the Scene before, ask for help Live, then review a Debrief after. Go dark and Wake let you choose what remains in view.

Requires Even Realities G2 smart glasses.

They asked: “What's your biggest weakness?”

A mock of the on-glass card. It appears when the lens has something worth saying, then clears.

The arc

Before, during, after

Start prepared, get quiet help only when it earns the moment, then, when eligible, review what mattered and what to try next on your phone.

  1. 1
    Before
    Scene

Choose a Lens, add the situation and your goal, then walk in prepared without being scripted.

  2. 2
    During
    Live

Live help can be exact words, a coaching cue, or both. When Coach is on, VelvetSpeak looks for a concrete conversational bind and stays quiet unless it has a specific nudge.

  3. 3
    After
    Debrief

A debrief worth returning for. What mattered, what to try next. On your phone, after the conversation, never mid-sentence.

After the conversation

The conversation ends.The learning doesn't.

Optional help on G2. A private Debrief on your phone when the session is eligible.

When consent, Debrief processing, capture settings, and session eligibility allow, it can show what happened, what mattered, what you committed to, how talk-share trended, and one thing to try next.

Illustrative view. Availability depends on consent, capture settings, and session eligibility.

Reflect — See what mattered

Review the useful parts of an eligible Debrief.

Decide — Choose what stays

Accept, edit, or reject suggested memories.

Prepare — Take one thing forward

Carry one concrete thing into the next conversation.

Storage, processing, and wipe details

Transcripts, notes, and memory retained by your Memory Capture choice stay on this device. Live microphone audio is still sent to Deepgram and OpenAI as disclosed.

Suggested memories require your review. You can request a wipe of locally saved Velvet knowledge; account, access, pairing, feedback, and basic settings remain.

Eight lenses

Each one listens for something different

The current beta includes eight built-in Lenses. Pick the one that fits the conversation you're walking into. Each is focused and quiet by default.

Interview

Hears the question behind the question. Stays quiet while you answer.

Sales

Hears the objection type, and suggests the response that fits.

Meeting

Tracks decisions, commitments and names. Speaks only when something slips.

Debate

Catches claims and hidden assumptions, and offers the counter.

Conflict

Slows it down, finds what they actually mean, and phrases the calm response.

Dating

Helps you notice natural follow-up openings without forcing the moment.

Rapport

Helps you build connection, re-enter group conversations, and keep names in view.

Humor

Finds the opening for a light touch, and never forces it.

Your phone stays in your pocket
One glance, not a screen
Optional coach. Silence by default.

Privacy you can reason about

Live processing is disclosed

Microphone audio is sent to Deepgram and OpenAI to transcribe the conversation and generate suggestions.

Saved conversation data stays local

Transcripts, notes, and memory are stored on your device according to the Memory Capture level you choose.

You control what remains

Choose Minimal, Standard, or Full. Export or wipe wearer knowledge, and turn Session memory sync off to delete its server summaries.
